Overview
Proton Engineering Consultancy & Services is seeking an experienced Senior Piping Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing piping engineering activities for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Fertilizer, and Process Industry projects while ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare piping layouts, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and piping design deliverables.
- Develop piping material specifications, piping classes, and engineering calculations.
- Review vendor drawings, technical documents, and equipment layouts.
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil & Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.
- Participate in 3D model reviews and interdisciplinary design coordination meetings.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and client engineering standards.
- Support project execution from design through engineering completion.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8–12 years of experience in piping engineering.
- Experience on EPC, PMC, or Engineering Consultancy projects.
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
